Thank you for inquiring about our wedding venue for your special day. Laurel Brooke farm is a beautiful country estate nestled in a grove of trees on 40 acres, surrounded by a fruit orchard, pecan grove and a vineyard. Located seven miles north of Weston Missouri, our farm is on one of the highest points in Platte County, offering a spectacular view! Our carriage-house barn was renovated by Amish craftsmen from Jamesport, Missouri and has welcomed many Bed and Breakfast guests since 2001.

We offer many sites to host your ceremony and/or reception, such as the vineyard, fruit orchard, pecan grove or in the garden area behind the carriage-house barn. The possibilities are abundant and with our personalized service we can customize a package to fulfill your dreams! Our packages range from $4500 to $6000. The $4500 Event Package includes 8 hours of exclusive property rental time, tables and chairs to accommodate up to 150 guests, and use of the Carriage-House Barn to prepare for your special day. The $6000 Dream Package includes an exclusive property rental for two days, a one night stay in our Bed and Breakfast and a post wedding breakfast the next morning.

Venue Fees

Event Package -$4500 + tax

  • 8 hours of exclusive property rental time.
  • Your choice of location to host your event.
  • Tables and chairs to accommodate up to 150 guests. Additional charge for accommodations of more than 150 guests.
  • Five 6 foot long tables upon request.
  • Set up and removal of tables and chairs.
  • Use of the Carriage-House Barn Bed and Breakast to prepare for your special day.
  • One hour rehearsal time Monday-Thursday preceding your event.
  • Event must be concluded by 11 o'clock p.m.

Event Plus Package-$4900 + tax

  • Event Package plus exclusive use of the entire Carriage-House Barn Bed and Breakfast for a one night stay as your honeymoon.
  • A post wedding breakfast will be served the next morning.

Destination Dream Package -$6000 + tax

  • Exclusive property rental for two days.
  • Your choice of location to host your event.
  • Rehearsal the night before event
  • Tables and chairs to accommodate up to 150 guests. Additional charge for accommodations of more than 150 guests.
  • Five 6 foot long tables upon request.
  • Set up and removal of tables and chairs.
  • Use of the Carriage-House Barn to prepare for your special day.
  • Exclusive use of the entire Carriage-House Barn Bed and Breakfast for a one night stay as your honeymoon.
  • Post wedding breakfast the next morning.
  • Event must be concluded by 11 o'clock p.m.

Wedding and Reception Coordinator

A wedding and/or reception coordinator will be present for your rehearsal dinner, your ceremony and your reception. You will meet with your coordinator 2 weeks prior to your wedding and/or reception and all of the details of your event will be reviewed. Please bring the names and contact numbers for all independent contractors to this meeting. A total number of your guest count will need to be given at that time as well.


Lay out, Set up and Clean Up

The number of guest accommodations may vary depending on the site chosen for your event. Our event director will work with you to create a custom lay out design. Laurel Brooke Farm staff is responsible for set up and removal of tables and chairs. You and your vendors are responsible for removing specialty items such as flowers, cake stands, gifts, decorations etc. and for clean up by midnight the day of your event.


Decorating

Guarantors and their vendors may arrive as early as 12 o'clock noon on their reserved date to decorate. Any candles must be on trays or mirrors and the flames must be enclosed. Votives work nicely for this. Confetti, glitter, fireworks or sparklers are not allowed. Take down and removal of all personal items, decorations, and flowers must be completed by midnight the day of the event.


Vendors

All vendors must provide evidence of insurance to Laurel Brooke Farm. It is the responsibility of the guarantor to provide this information to Laurel Brooke Farm. A list of preferred vendors is available upon request.


Parking

Free parking is available on site.


Deposit/Damage Deposit

A non-refundable deposit, which is your venue fee, may be payable in full at the time of reserving your date, or payable in two payments if time allows. The second payment must be paid at least nine months prior to your reserved date. If the second payment is not received nine months prior to your reserved date, your event may automatically be cancelled. Laurel Brooke Farm requires that you authorize charges to a valid credit card given to us two weeks before the event in case of damage to the property and its contents, or if the venue is left in an unacceptable manner.
